It is interesting to note you looked at the questions, but never bothered to pay any attention to the answers?
To make it simple enough for a conservative to understand here is the short course on liberalism.
Liberal comes from the Latin "Liber," which translates both as book, and free.
The short book on liberalism is that liberals attack three concepts:
1.) ascribed status--Libertarians also agree on this point.
2.) religious conformity--please don't attempt to force you religious precepts on us, no matter how you attempt to cloak them.
3.) political absolutism- lose the mantra. A theocracy is anathema to liberals. The paradigm for a conservative nation state today is found only in Iran and Algeria. I don't think we want to model on this unless you are claiming Ayottola Bush?
There you have the short course, anything else is a variation on the theme. Capish?
