The reason the left can't fathom this scenario (outside of absolute hypocrites like Hillary Clinton who know Bush will win) is because they can't accept the idea that Bush, an ex-alcoholic, pampered momma's boy is intuitively smarter than they are.

Like the fancy-pants pugilist who goes down into the Bronx and gets his behind kicked by a street-fighter, the elitists have no street smarts and they certainly have no idea how daily life works for the majority of regular folks around the world, who live in squalor on less than $32 PER YEAR and hope and PRAY for a US invasion and toppling of Saddam.

"Bush wins" means the left stays out of power for the next 5 years, probably longer. He will reshape europe after oldworld-commies Chirac and Schroeder are long gone and the protesters of 2003 are as embarassed by their actions as are is ex-Vietnam protester David Horowitz.
