RobVG you make good points, as does Tom about the PURPOSE or the ideals behind this "war". Although, I see them and understand them, I do not agree with them.
This young boy had NO CHOICE when he was bombed. Mary Anne already went through this argument a couple of days ago.
He probably would have lived a full life. At least had his arms and legs.
Your argument says he' would have grown up to be tortured anyway.
Like he deserved it.
That somehow, in your mind, this is just a small sacrifice on his part to help free his country.
