Truer words have seldom been spoken, even if it was by a fictional character. It's very sad what happened to the boy in the picture, but sometimes a few must suffer if the majority are to benefit. Every year thousands of people in this country are harmed or die from allergic reactions to medications. Should we stop giving them because of these tragic deaths, or do we keep giving them because the benefits far outweigh the risks?
There comes a point when you must look beyond a few tears and at the bigger picture and all of the smiles from the many that are saved.
