You seem to have your history mixed up.

<Freicorps dealt with people (Jews, Gays etc) by beating them to death on the streets in front of their family.

You're thinking of the SA, not the Freikorps. They have very little in common. The Freikorps were formed shortly after the armisitice of 1919 to help defend their country (the German military had been for the most part eliminated) from the communist thugs roaming the streets beating and killing people (shop owners, bankers, factory foremen, etc) which didn't buy into their workers paradise fantasies.

Maybe you should read Fox's, not mine, description of the Freikorps again. The Bavarian Socialist Republic wasn't founded with love and peace, but with violence. A tool first picked up and used by the Left, not the Right.
