Did you see "Defenders Of The Planet" on TLC"? They gave an unbeleivable amount of air time to BD and quoted Barryisms as fact without attributing them to him and as if they represented scientific consensus.

The dumbest comment from Barry: "New evidence indicates Dinosaurs died out over 2 million years and this is consistant with a disease imported with the impactor" or something similar anyways. I about choked that any documentarian would buy that a disease can be lethal enough to wipe out 70 % of all species yet mild enough to take 2 million years to do it. Several other comments of a similar dumb nature were quoted without any rebuttle or comment from someone with actual expertise on epidemiology.

At least they let Zubrin have a brief but final word about all the debris from Mars that rains down annually totally unrestricted. In a sense, even that was bad because you didn't get a chance to see Barry shuffle and contradict himself over that fact as he usually does.

They about lost all my esteem for them built up over several years for many good specials.
