Only 30 miles up?

Englishman Steve Bennett [X-Prize contestant] still plans to launch himself to an altitude over (100 kilometers) 62 miles up...this September.

This guy from Oregon only going upto 30 miles?
Commendable, but it might leave him out of the record
books.
Courageous guy, though...He deserves better.
