Varying G???

Hi Board

Here's an interesting piece on possible evidence for varying G - gravitational constant...

http://au.arxiv.org/abs/astro-ph/0107024

Seems the author has calculated the effects of changing G on the Earth Moon system, deriving a set of solar-years and lunar months which fit various lines of palaeodata, like coral, tidalites and stromatolites. He ends up with the Moon orbitting Earth at about 18,000 km and a day of 6 hours.
