Early Earth
A 6 hour day is quite often quoted directly after the moon-forming event.
Remember that the moon was so close that tides of up to 1 km in height would be raised and would sweep across the Earth every 3 hours, rushing hundreds or thousands of km inland (if there were any discrete continents).
It would have been an exciting time, to say the least.
