MECO and orientation jets?
It seemed to me that there was a 2-stage process of dust clearing, related to a 2-stage shutdown.
First "MECO" - shutdown of the descent engine, leaving a much reduced dust cloud, and clearly visualised lateral flow of gas/particles. Perhaps this was from the stabilisation system, still trying to maintain orientation despite being grounded on the surface.
This was shut down a few seconds after the descent engine.
In other landings, depending on the orientation of the lander and its tilt angle, the maouvring thrusters might either not have been firing, or firing away from the camera window.
