I agree with 90% of what you say. I just have a lot of questions/doubts about us being a cosmic fluke and comments on either side saying that earth like planets are rare. There are so many galaxies that we just see a shimmer of, having no clue as to what kind of star/planetary systems lie therein. I know this goes against current data but I state again : we have zero probes outside the influnce of our sun, how much can we really know?
