Some things we must accept on faith alone. There are times when we have some reason to suspect that the outcome is true even when we can not prove it. (Law of cause and effect, I think)
For instance, I take it on faith alone that your great, great, great grandfather had sex with your great, great, great, grandmother, I can not prove it, but the outcome seems logical since you exist.
In a similar manner, I can not prove that the universe had a beginning, but since it is here I take it on faith alone that the existence of the universe must have had a beginning.
I know of no man dead or alive that is able to cause space, mass or energy to come into existence, therefore “something” far greater than mankind must have created such things.
The scriptures give a name to that creator, that name does not necessarily need to refer to a human form; unless of course our galaxy is simply an atom in the man’s big toe.;-)
