The quantum entaglement process has to be understood enough to produce it within a give space. There was some work being done on that which involved "buckyballs" somewhere. I wish smb was here perhaps he would know the specifics. They did it with some type of exotic material.
Of course we're talking about logic circuits with no wires, and if we can manage to control the process down to say an angstrom unit we may be able to have logic circuits without transistors. I'm sure it will happen someday but probably not for a long while. Which reminds me of something I need to write down about a circuit design idea.
