Just keep in mind the ramifications of e=mc^2
Converting about 50 grams of matter to energy releases the same as detonating one million tons of TNT. Converting a single 100 KG person would release 2000 megatons, roughly the same as detonating every nuclear weapon in the US inventory at once. Better have a damned good containment system.
