Space movie recommendation
I just saw "The Dish" last Saturday night and highly recommend it. For those not familiar with the story, it's a funny movie based on a true story. Back in 1969, the Parkes radiotelescope antenna in Austrailia was the only antenna big enough to receive the television pictures from the Apollo 11 moonwalk. In the days leading up to the walk, a power failure wipes out the tracking computer. Rather than admit a problem, they lied to NASA until they could figure out what to do. Like I said, it's a funny movie.
