Hello, Larry.

Well, this is from a hunch, but if the military's and it's close agencies funds increase [dramatically] in the future, I see a decrease in funds for NASA in the future.

"Some of the NASA technology development has also been used by the military, things like materials, communication satellite technologies, systems, etc"

True, but as for 'space exploration'... I see a decrease in funds/approval of missions there. I hope I'm wrong.
