First: Didn't the Iraqi's
actually manage to launch a mini-satellite into a temporary
LEO orbit in the late 1980's,
using a modified SCUD or a somewhat
larger Soviet ballistic missile?

Second: Wouldn't Saddam Insane
be capable of launching a mini-satellite, and have it
sent deliberately on a collision course
with the ISS, causing horrific destruction of the complex and its inhabitants?

Third: If Saddam isn't capable of it,
couldn't the Iranians carry out such a horrific, evil act? They have a superior ballistic missile under
development, capable of being modified
to launch sats.

Fourth: If either the Iraqis, Iranians
or North Koreans do such a horrible
despicable thing, would they be able
to claim [by lying] that 'it was all an tragic accident', since all the evidence to the contrary would reenter the atmosphere
and burn up?
