Isaac Asimov vindicated?
Hi Guys
When Isaac Asimov wrote about Noah's Flood years ago he suggested a meteorite impact as the cause of the rapid inrush of water described in the Epic of Gilgamesh, which eventually became the Flood story of Noah. I suspect further research will show the impactor struck before the terminal Early Bronze Age crisis, before Sargon and Gilgamesh, and could well have been the "true" cause of the Flood of Utnapishtim/Noah.
