A word of caution
Circular lakes in flat deserts are not neccesarily caused by astroblemes. The original article is shot through with "could be's" and "if the age is..."
Basically there is no hard data, no rock samples, no iridium, no high-pressure minerals.
The age, in particular, is totally unknown.
It will be hard to obtain samples in the present international political climate, but one day the answers will come. Just be surte that you aren't building your castle on a foundation of sand...
