Hi, Raoul.

While I continue to say that the "Ring Nebula" in Lyra is unsurpassed in beauty [at least when viewed or imaged through the most powerful telescopes], I certainly don't despise the cosmic beauty or awe-inspiring images of the Orion Nebula, North American Nebula, Cat's-Eye Nebula, and the Eagle Nebula [probably the most spine-tingling eerie object in space]..They deserve either
second place or honorable mention.
Hey! Even the Crab Nebula is
attractive in its own way!

...It's just that the Ring Nebula
in Lyra stands out for me...I never
get bored or tired looking at the large glossy color-photographs taken of that particular object in space.
Imagine what it would be like to
float some ten or twenty light-years
from the Ring Nebula and view its
breathtaking splendor?

cheers.

Jacob
