Caveat: What kind of USB is the adapter?
The low price may be due to its using an older and slower USB standard. I searched their literature in vain to find out if it's USB 2 or USB 3, but some throughput numbers suggested the slower standard.
The bigger the memory capacity, the more you care about the throughput. The other day my office server crashed, and I had to backup and then restore 1.5 terabytes to an external drive connected via USB 3, and it took 18 hours each way. Speed matters.
