If there is infinity, it should also mean infinity in the past!
Yet, we know suns, planets, life, everything around us, hasn't always been there. It was formed somehow, from something else.
Why should it be different with the entire universe?
Besides, we know about the redshift and the significance that the universe most likely was also formed and that it didn't either always exist.
