No, I don't think I was misled - and I agree that what I reported was true i.e. not inaccurate. I never said Bass had a signed deal, paid any money etc. etc. Just that Bass (his people at Destiny) were in discussion with MirCorp about a flight to ISS on a Soyuz. As to whether MirCorp does or does not have the right to make these deals with Energia or RSA - that is a wholly different issue. Bass' people and MirCorp's people most certainly have "talked" and that is what I reported.
As for the seat being "reserved"- NO ONE has reserved it yet. When someone actually makes a down payment - then that is when the issue fo who may or may not fly takes a step forward.
