Is there a biochemical reason for extinction. Dinasaurs, that is.

I just loved the Dinasaur skit that was used at the close of Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympics ( Utah is known for their Dinasaur excavations ) and the flourescent paint-black light skating routine.
