The part that intrigued me about the quoted article is that the little guys "switched metabolisms" and kept going.
That's a versatility I certainly wouldn't have suspected. "Switching metabolism", indeed. You could put me under 32,000 atmospheres, and I'm gonna stick with hot dogs and well, Purina I guess.
