Why would you want to use something you would have to refine as a rad protection material, when you can bulldoze as many feet of regolith as you want?
Create girders by melting anything you find on the ground, or quarry solid rock girders. Build a framework. Cover with lots of regolith. Seal from the inside with heat (and/or spray with precious plastics). Add air.
