Financial exposure would make such claim unusable
& any moderately sharp backer would see that immediately. The cost of setting up & legally attempting to enforce such a claim would more than devour any plausible profits even without the direct political attack on such a claim jump would inevitably trigger. As usual: the hype of what can & can't be done in space is rather at odds with what happens in the real world of financing.
