Good Article, What about flying aircraft? A new meaning to the *no fly zone*.
The carbon based nanotube would seem to be lightweight. I wonder if the greatest challenge will be to keep the cable straight and inline with the projected release point into orbit. The laser liftoff sounds interesting.
