One might note that there are two sites covering the recent 2003 MER Landing Sites Selection Workshop in Pasadena. First, there is the NASA Ames site at:
http://marsoweb.nas.nasa.gov/landingsites/mer2003/doc/pasadena_02/program.html
which gives access to very large PowerPoint slide presentations. Secondly, there is the USGS site at:
http://webgis.wr.usgs.gov/mer/feb_2002_mer_preliminary_agenda.htm
that has smaller PDF files of the many of the same presentations. Note, however, that the two sites are not synchronized (i.e., some presentations appear on one site and not the other).
Overall, though, the site at NASA Ames
http://marsoweb.nas.nasa.gov/landingsites/mer2003/mer2003.html
has more information on the status of landing site selection, as well as access to presentations from prior workshops.
