Adding subtle typos, little bits here and there that would not be obvious screwups. Who do you know who routinely goes back and checks up on their own posts?
Keep it above the level where a general impression of "this guy ain't right" is created, but below the level where someone would comment on it.
And since so many people have this kind of access, who do you blame? I don't think edits are tracked.
But it would be wrong... :)
