SM+CM+LM

This is the only picture, in flight, of the entire Apollo-LM combination (well, except the descent stage). It had been a poster above my bed for years. I'm wondering why it's so famous and has been countless times shown. Was it the contrast between the blueness of the Earth and the redness of Scott's helmet? I was kind of disappointed that the helmet had changed once again, before the moonlandings and that no spacewalk was achieved with Apollo 10.
