The physics are radically different for both

In a prop plane at sub-sonic speeds you are creating certain air flows to the prop and over the wings.

All the flow patterns cease to operate in the same manner for sonic transportation.

In a fighter jet, which is structurally designed to take the air-flow of sonic flight you have a severe shock zone which would likely destroy a propeller and make it useless.

The airflow over the propeller would cease to propel the craft in the vortical manner it does in sub-sonic flight.

In a nutshell, props and sonic speed don't mix.

Best wishes,

Some spectacular prop craft disintegrations have been recorded in the quest to break the sound barrier.
