NASA has been 'Bad News' for years..

NASA has been ‘bad news’ for space.....for years..

“The Shuttle has been an enormous disappointment, insofar as it hasn't been as cheap or fast as promised. NASA burned a lot of people with that one. It has sucked up an enormous amount of money that could have gone to other projects. ISS doesn't have much to do, and was a prestige trophy of Reagan's until it became political pork. The costs and overruns there could have funded Mars.”

You’re right.

NASA and our elected politicians have screwed us, the American public for too long and we’re finally catching on. It’s been a bottomless money pit for too long and “Joe six pack” has finally figured it out. (It sucks that he’s the guy that pay’s the bills doesn’t it) NASA has not delivered and needs to be purged of its incompetence. You’d probably be amazed at how in tune “Joe six pack” is with his surroundings.

He’s the least likely to get constantly screwed and he has caught on and learned how the game is played, while the NASA brass sits around and dreams up new way’s to bone and appease the tax-payer with lame stuff, Joe six-pack has gotten the clue.

When something no longer works or progresses it gets scraped and that’s the path NASA is heading down. Hopefully in the future the government will relinquish it’s monopoly on space and independent private entrepreneur’s will take over space exploration and get away from the political, money hungry BS that the rulers of NASA thrives on. Countries like China will probably pass us in space eventually.

It’s time for a change and to move forward, NASA sucks and as long as we depend on their incompetence and the Washington politicians for space exploration we are stale and going nowhere.
