What is it?
This appeared in the local Torrance California paper, “The Daily Breeze”, in this mornings Ask Us column.
Q: Night Sky
There has been a very bright light up in the sky about 7:30 or 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. It's in a southwest direction over the ocean. It is stationary but it is very bright, much brighter than a planet. We were just wondering if it was the international space station with the sun reflecting off it. But it has been very, very bright and very interesting.

OK what was it she was seeing?
