I'm curious, is that another galaxy like the larger one towards the middle-left of the large core... inside the large empty region? It seems to have a prominent red-shift. It could also be a supernova, but it shows up in that large ring area devoid of anyting. <shrug>
From the photo, the main galaxy has plenty of galactic bubbles. We're riding along in one now. *g*
