"Wacky" Environmental Science causes Economic Disaster

This one's close to home. Surprise, surprise but enviro scientests made "mistakes" that led to the destruction of local industry and livelihoods. Oh but it was for the righ reasons.

And people wonder why some of us engineer types are skeptical about climate models, etc.
