41 kilometers above the earth's surface is still well within the influence of Earth, and well within the sphere of our magnetosphere. To verify ET microbes and nanobes, we'll need to find stuff beyond this protective layer. Show me something that not only lives, but thrives beyond the influence of Earth, and I'll show you a very probable ET.
