Dealing with the danger of asteroid and comet impact
You folks still don't gety it yet.
It doesn't matter what your view on other matters of governanace are, or on the role of the federal governemtn in them.
The hazard crosses party lines - these things kill people no matter what their politics or form of government, or their religion for that matter.
Even liberals who may view the space sector as little more than another part of the military industrial complex can not duck this issue, any more than conservatives who hate to see the government spending increase for anything.
