"Why the h*** is it so hard to get back to the moon, or to Mars, over 30 years later! "
First of all, it wasn't easy to get to the moon then. We just had the will to do so and the willingness to spend the money necessary to make it happen. Unfortunately for us space fans, neither seems present today. Like my favorite line from "The Right Stuff", "No bucks, no Buck Rogers."
