Apollo lunar take-offs. Someone knows.

Reading that it's been 30 years since the last moonwalk by someone not scarred by "cosmetic" surgery.

Went to thinking about the first TV shot of the take-off, which was a flash of light and that's it. FAST.

Then got to thinking that they flew and landed those things while standing up.

Did they lay down for the take-off, or was it slow enough for their legs to handle the acceleration? It sure didn't look like it, especially after being out there for a week or so without meaningful exercise.

Thanks, someone.
