20 years ago that we'd be rooting for a Chinese spaceship?
Or even calling 'em "Chinese", and not "Red Chinese"?
Maybe all the fuss and bother isn't that important. China today is the same as the one we were taught to fear and hate. The US is sorta the same.
And, they made orbit. I would imagine a few of their astronauts who were practicing emergency procedures near launch were wishing they could replace one of the "virtual astronauts".
