Liquid Hydrogen Liquid Oxygen....I'm sure the Chinese don't master this technology yet..
Did the Soviets ever? I'm not sure if Energya works that way.
But a earth orbit rendez-vous means keeping that fuel for a long time in LEO; however it vaporizes very fast (that's why the SIVB Saturn stage had to be re-ignited only after one and a half earth orbits, for TLI; any time longer and there wasn't enough fuel to get to the necessary speed).
Tricky.
