Finally! Finally! A martian aircraft!
First proposed way back in the 1970's
by someone at JPL, it looks like a robotic
aircraft may finally take to the martian skies in 2007.
One of the proposals for a "Martian Scout Mission" is that for a Langley
unmanned aircraft.

I've waited a long time for a mission like this. Can hardly wait for them to "stitch
together" digital images taken from the martian flightpath allowing us to vicariously enjoy what it would be like to fly above the martian surface.
