Can you point me?
My knowledge of science pales compared to the rest of you here, but this I can work on.
My local paper had, for several years, a weekly column on skywatching, complete with a diagram of the night sky with a little person standing on the horizon looking up at the conveniently labelled heavenly objects. It was written by a local high school teacher (my son had him for physics) who also moonlighted :) at the planetarium of a local college. It was very accessable, as it was written by a science teacher at a high school level, and very popular.
He got a better-paying job and moved away. -sigh- My son said he was one of the 6 best teachers he ever had.
I'd like to see a quarter million or more small projects like that all over this country. We need them yesterday.
Regards--
Mary Anne
