I saw a TV documentary on 'Wernher Von Braun" this morning: I have a controversial question to ask.
It was a good documentary.
It showed 16mm [fading] color-film footage of Von Braun showing off the Huntsville, Alabama rocket-development
and test-site for JFK, etc... [circa 1962]...I even recognized some of the
background scenery of the Huntsville area, including that rocket-display
'park' that you can [today] see from the
"Alan B. Shepherd Memorial Expressway"
nearby...Great state scenery yuo have there, FrankC.
OK! Now to my controversial question:
Should Dr. Wernher Von Braun have been
charged as a "war criminal"?
Many ex mittelwerk forced-laborers [slaves] think so; those who survived.
