The ultra loonies on the left say we must live in primitive lifestyles to survive...they believe that humans are the plague...

The nuts on the right think that no regard for ecology needs to be...they think some how we can do whatever we want to the planet and tough luck if it causes extinction..

I dislike extremists of all ilk... rational thought trancends ideology.... I think extremists like PETA ELF and NRA Aand CCC, and KKK destroy themselves... this is a good thing, BUT they also destroy rational debate because they polarize discussions...

for instance you can point to PETA and ELF as being representative of the left... granted they are most likely voting to the left... I doubt mant ELF members voted for bush....

I on the other hand can say that most racists groups voted for the right.... Do you think Klan members voted for gore/lieberman?

we both have our ideologies, but I think we are far better than the extremists on our sides... we would agree on much more than we disagree on....

extremists by definition are not rational...you seem rational, and I hope I would seem so to you... we both have to fight the extremists in our own parties.

And we both need to realize that the nuts on the other side dont define all that disagree with us....

I also would like to add that classifying people as left and right is something that is self defeating.... I make my decisions based on what i think will further the human race... I honestly do not have loyalty to any party, loyalty to a party means abrogation of choice, and individuality.... I have seen republicans I would choose over the democrats running against them... In addition I would like to say I am very patriotic... not only are we the best country in any way that counts , but we have done more to improve the lives of all the worlds people than any country in existance...

I am a liberal, but unlike what so many on the right like to believe, I do not blame the US for the worlds ills....

I believe if ANY country can save the world it is the USA... AND I THINK WE WILL....

We just need to prove te nuts on the extemes on both sides wrong...
