I think gravity, without a doubt, has been a great contributor to what we have become. I also agree with what Nathan said here: <a href="http://www.habitablezone.com/space/messages/29520.html";
We've just begun to look and have questions answered.
Personally, I love to fly, look down on a city from a high building and lately, I thought how wonderful it would be to be at the top of Mauna Kea looking down at an ocean of clouds (thanks, RL and Robert for the images!), but I do not like gravity. lol
