I was able to replace most parts on my 1990 Jeep and my 1988 Buick. There was so much space under the hood it made working on them easy. I no longer have those cars. My two modern cars have engine crammed in them and everything is controlled by the cars computer. I’ll change the filters, oil and spark plugs, but I’ll take them to the shop for anything major. On the plus side, they rarely break down
