Gotta love it. Solve the gas core NR problems by "transparent high temp ceramics". Easy, the writer says so. Then the ludicrous statement of aiming one of N engines at the sun to squirt out the radioactive waste. The writer is a complete bozo who does know the technical terminology though.
Don't get me wrong. I'd love to see us build nuclear rockets. Practically, they just gotta run above the atmosphere. But it's obvious that the writer has never built real hardware...that worked.
