Ha! Thrust is in units of pounds-force.
As a parallel example, weight is also given in pounds-force. In that case the weight in pounds-force is the pounds-mass multiplied by the gravitational constant, 32.2 ft/sec^2.
What did I tell you -- Imperial units suck. The USA should switch to metric like the rest of the world. It would streamline business (that'll get 'em going!).
